I'm Diane, almost 50 and live in north west England.

I'm ill and disabled and housebound, but I've always been interested in many crafts, so I'm never bored.

I learned to dressmake, handknit and embroider when I was too young to remember, but learned to crochet from the internet and books only a few years ago.  I also like fashion jewellery designing/creating and cardmaking when I'm able to sit up at my desk for long enough, as I suffer with severe back pain and chronic fatigue, which limits me far too much for my liking. 

Whatever I work on is slow going because I have to take frequent breaks, and there are times when I can't do much at all, which is when I hit the internet and do some more learning and get some ideas! LOL!

I have lots of stash and lots of ideas and patterns.....I'm just a bit short on energy to make everything I want to make, but everything I achieve is a big step forward for me because so much of 'myself' has gone into it.
